Mr James Gudgeon
James is married to Elsie and they have 8 children. They began attending Ebenezer Hastings in 2006 after they were married. James joined the church, followed by Elsie a few years later.
In 2012 James was sent out from Ebenezer to preach and in 2014 he and the family were sent (with the church’s blessing) to Kenya as missionaries. The Lord blessed the work in Kenya. A church was planted and a mission compound built. The family was there for eight years and came back to the UK in November 2022. James was appointed Pastor of Ebenezer Chapel in January 2024.
Mr Tom Gudgeon
Tom a deacon and Sunday school teacher of the senior class. He is a self-employed tree surgeon during the week.
He’s married to Gemma and is Blessed with 8 children.
Miss Emily Woodhams
Emily works as a speech and language therapist supporting children with varied communication needs. She attended the Sunday school here as a child, she was then a helper and in recent years, a teacher. Emily teaches the youngest group.
Mr Edwin Woodhams
Edwin a Deacon and Sunday school teacher to the middle class. He works as a gardener and keeps a flock of sheep. He and his wife Esther have four young children.
